Patricia Dodd Racher is a geographer who works as a research analyst and writer for Dodd Racher & Partners, and has done so since 1988. Before that she spent almost two decades with Reed Business Publishing, now part of Reed Elsevier. She was a reporter and feature writer with Farmers Weekly, and an editor with British Farmer & Stockbreeder.

Patricia graduated from the London School of Economics in 1968. Subsequent qualifications include a Masters degree from the Open University and a Doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University. She lives in rural West Wales.

Dodd Racher & Partners provides business and economic analysis and forecasting.
