About the author
Patricia Dodd Racher is a geographer who since 1988 has worked as a research analyst and writer for Dodd Racher & Partners. Before that she spent almost two decades with Reed Business Publishing, now part of Reed Elsevier. She was a reporter and feature writer with Farmers Weekly, and an editor with British Farmer & Stockbreeder.
Patricia graduated from the London School of Economics. Subsequent qualifications include a Masters degree from the Open University and a Doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University. She wrote ‘Empty Plates Tomorrow’, a book published in 2007, about serious challenges to future food production.
Dodd Racher & Partners provide IT services including web development, and research services including economic analysis and forecasting.
